How do I setup my slush machine?
Setting up your slush machine is simple. There are absolutely no tools required for assembly and there are only 6 parts per bowl to assemble. There are complete instructions shipped with your machine and you can view a setup video here to see how simple it is. All that your machine needs to run is a standard wall outlet that can run themaximum that your machine will consume which is 12 amps. There are no water lines required for your machine.

How do I maintain my frozen drink maker?
Maintaining your slush machine is very easy to do. Just like any appliance in your kitchen, you have to keep it clean. Cleaning and maintenance will mostly be determined by your usage and environment. For commercial customers we recommend cleaning the unit out about twice a month. This includes emptying out any product into a mixing jug that you can later reuse, disassembling the top of the machine (bowl and seals), and then washing them in a sink. Additionally, you need to rinse the rear air filter once a month. This filter comes off very easily and rinses in a sink.

For residential use, cleaning will vary greatly on your use. At a minimum we suggest rinsing your machine out with water between uses if you aren't going to use the machine for the next few days. The product that you put into the machine can be emptied into a mixing jug and kept for future use. We recommend taking the rear filter off and rinsing it every 2 to 3 months.

How long does the mix take to slush up after on turn on my machine?
This question is always on everyone's mind: "How long do I have to wait before I can enjoy my slush?!?"

The answer to this will depend on two key factors:

How much product did you put into the machine to get started AND
What is the room temperature where the machine is being operated

When a slush machine bowl is full of frozen drink mix and the room temperature is 75° to 80°, you will find that the slush will take approximately 60 minutes to slush down. Slush times will greatly very on room temperate and amount of slush mix placed in the bowl.

My machine is not working properly, who do I contact?
Remember that your Bunn Ultra machines come with a full 5 year warrantee on any manufacturing defects. Typically any problems that come up with these machines are either setting or maintenance related. You can always contact Alligator Ice directly at support@alligatorice.com to have your issues quickly resolved.
